1. Controller and scope
Jorge Dávila, operating under the JD Apps brand and established in Spain, is the controller for processing under the developer’s control. This policy covers Pulse Loop, support communications and this website. Privacy and rights enquiries: support@playjdapps.com. Google, Apple and GitHub also publish their own privacy notices.
These technical descriptions concern the reviewed Pulse Loop 1.2 implementation. Features and privacy controls may differ in earlier versions; check the version installed on your device.
2. Information stored on your device
The game stores progress, scores, stars, moves, completed daily challenges, virtual currency, preferences and purchase status locally. No registration is required, and progress is not sent to a Pulse Loop server for synchronization. Some data may be included in iOS backups depending on your device settings.
Resetting progress or deleting the app affects local data; it does not delete Apple purchase records or information previously received by service providers.
3. Optional usage analytics: Google Analytics for Firebase
Analytics is off by default. It is enabled only if you choose to share usage data in Settings > Privacy. You can keep playing with analytics disabled. Its purpose is to understand how the game works and improve difficulty, navigation and stability.
If enabled, Google may receive tutorial and gameplay events, level and game mode, moves, attempt duration, results, hint use, shop and virtual currency actions, purchases and advertising events. The SDK may also process device and app information, sessions and app-instance identifiers. These identifiers are pseudonymous; they do not guarantee anonymity.
In this version, Analytics collection of the Identifier for Vendor (IDFV) is disabled, and Analytics consent for advertising storage and ad personalization is denied. We do not add your name or email address to gameplay events.
Disabling analytics stops future collection and resets local Analytics data and identifiers. It does not automatically delete data already sent to Google. Contact us with requests about that data; handling depends on whether records can be identified and on the provider’s available tools.
4. Advertising and consent: Google AdMob and UMP
Pulse Loop uses Google AdMob for interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads. Ad requests are configured as non-personalized; we do not request ads selected from a profile of your interests. The app does not request tracking permission through App Tracking Transparency. This does not mean that no data is processed or that SDKs never use technical identifiers.
Google and applicable advertising providers may process IP addresses, approximate location derived from them, device and app information, permitted identifiers, ads viewed, interactions and diagnostic or performance data. Purposes may include ad delivery and measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention and service operation.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) manages consent messages and choices where applicable to your region and the service configuration. Ads are requested only when UMP indicates they are allowed. Available advertising choices can be reopened in Settings > Privacy. Rejecting a choice does not necessarily remove all ads: limited ad modes may be served where permitted.
The remove-ads purchase removes advertising interruptions. Rewarded videos you choose to watch may remain available. Advertising choices are separate from Analytics consent.
5. In-app purchases and support
Apple processes payments through the App Store and StoreKit. Pulse Loop does not receive your card details. The app uses transaction status and purchased products to deliver and restore purchases. Apple retains its records under its terms and privacy policy.
If you contact support, we process your email address and message to respond and resolve your request. Share only necessary information; do not send passwords, tokens or payment details.
6. Purposes, grounds and recipients
Local storage and purchase information are used to provide the game and purchased features. Optional analytics relies on your consent. Advertising consent is requested when required; technical, security and fraud-prevention processing depends on the service and applicable rules. Support communications are used to handle your request.
We do not sell your data. Necessary information may be processed through Google, Apple, the email provider used for support and GitHub for website hosting. Providers may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Support email is provided by Arsys. We process the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send to investigate and answer your enquiry. Under the GDPR, this relies on our legitimate interest in helping players and resolving incidents (Article 6(1)(f)); you may object. Processing required by a legal obligation relies on Article 6(1)(c), where applicable. Providing information is voluntary, but we may be unable to resolve a request without enough details. Do not send sensitive data.
7. Retention and international transfers
Game data remains on your device while the app and its data are retained, unless you use available reset controls. Support communications are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and applicable obligations.
Google and Apple retain received data according to its type, service settings and their policies. We do not claim it is deleted when you uninstall the game. Aggregate reports may be retained differently from events associated with an app instance.
Providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and other locations where they operate. Their policies describe applicable transfer conditions and safeguards. Contact us for additional information.
We periodically review support emails and delete them when no longer needed to resolve the enquiry, unless retention is necessary for related claims or legal obligations. Deleting game data does not delete support correspondence or provider-held records.
For information on Google’s transfer safeguards, including adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses where applicable, see its data transfer notice. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to processing under our control. Google.
8. Your choices and rights
You can play without enabling Analytics, change your choice in Settings > Privacy, review available advertising options, reset game data and contact support. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, withdraw consent and complain to the relevant authority. In Spain, this is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es). Requests involving Google or Apple records may require their mechanisms and information that identifies those records. We do not require identity documents unless necessary and proportionate to verify a request.
9. Minors, security and this website
If you are a minor, ask a parent or guardian for help with privacy decisions and purchases where needed. An App Store age rating does not mean SDKs process no data. Contact support if you have concerns about information relating to a minor.
We apply consent and data-limitation controls and rely on providers’ security measures. No system offers absolute security.
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. The hosting provider may log technical information, such as IP addresses and requests, to operate and protect the service. These pages do not include our own website analytics system.
Pulse Loop is intended for a general audience, has a 13+ App Store age rating and is outside the Kids Category. This rating does not determine the legal age for valid privacy consent in every country. We do not intentionally ask children to provide personal data through support. If you believe a child has provided data, contact support@playjdapps.com so we can assess the situation and take appropriate action.
10. Changes and provider links
We will update this page and its date if data handling changes. Where a change requires renewed consent, it will be requested as appropriate. See the provider links below.
