EGGSCAPE · JD APPS

Privacy policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026 · Eggscape 1.0.1 · English

1. Controller and scope

Jorge Dávila, operating under the JD Apps brand and established in Spain, is the controller for processing under the developer’s control. Contact: support@playjdapps.com. This policy describes Eggscape 1.0.1, support enquiries and this website. Earlier versions may have different consent and Analytics behaviour; update the app to receive the privacy changes.

2. Game data on your device

Progress, scores, preferences and game-related advertising state are stored locally to provide game features. JD Apps does not operate a separate player account database. Deleting the app generally removes local app data; Apple-managed backups may retain copies. This version does not include Game Center or in-app purchases.

3. Advertising and privacy choices

Eggscape uses Google AdMob for interstitial and rewarded ads. Google and partners involved in serving its ads may process IP address, device/app information, permitted identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic/performance data to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and maintain reliability. Approximate location may be inferred from IP. Non-personalized ads can still involve personal data. JD Apps has not integrated another advertising provider or mediation network.

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) updates consent information and displays a form when required. In Settings, Privacy Choices appears when UMP requires that entry point; it lets you review or change choices. Ad initialization and requests are gated by UMP’s permission to request ads. Refusing personalization does not necessarily stop all ads. Withdrawing consent affects future consent-based processing, not the lawfulness of earlier processing. UMP is distinct from Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT); this version does not automatically request ATT from the home screen. Google privacy policy · Google services in partner apps

4. Firebase Analytics

Google Analytics for Firebase remains integrated. In version 1.0.1, event collection is disabled by default in configuration and explicitly disabled at startup. No option to enable it is offered. This does not mean that all SDK network communications cease or that AdMob processing is disabled. Updating does not automatically erase Analytics data that may have been collected by earlier versions.

5. Support enquiries

If you email support@playjdapps.com, we receive your email address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to investigate and answer your enquiry and handle related claims. Arsys provides our email service. Please send only information needed for your request and avoid sensitive personal data.

6. Purposes and legal bases

Local storage supports the game functions you request. Where the GDPR applies, consent is used for advertising-related device storage/access and personal data processing that requires it; other processing depends on its purpose and applicable law. Available purposes, providers and choices are described in the UMP message and Google’s notices. A rewarded ad choice does not itself replace privacy consent.

Responding to voluntary support enquiries is based on our legitimate interest in helping players and resolving incidents (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing necessary to meet a legal obligation relies on Article 6(1)(c), where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Providing support information is voluntary, but without enough information we may be unable to resolve your enquiry.

7. Providers and international transfers

Google provides AdMob, UMP and the integrated Firebase SDK; Apple provides app distribution and device/backup services; Arsys handles support email; GitHub Pages hosts this website. Opening the website entails processing connection information, such as IP address, by the hosting provider. Providers may process data for their own purposes under their notices, as well as to provide their services.

Data may be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA. Applicable transfer safeguards depend on the provider and service. Google describes its use of adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses in its transfer notice. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to processing under our control. 8. Retention and deletion

Local data remains until removed, reset or deleted with the app, subject to backups. We periodically review support emails and delete them when no longer needed to resolve the enquiry, unless retention is necessary for claims or legal obligations. Provider-held records follow the relevant service’s retention rules and applicable law. Uninstalling the app or disabling Analytics does not automatically delete records already held by providers; contact us for assistance with a rights request.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Use Privacy Choices when available for advertising choices, or contact support@playjdapps.com for assistance. Rights have legal conditions and limits; we may request only information necessary to verify your identity. You may complain to your local supervisory authority, including Spain’s Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

10. Children and teenagers

Eggscape is intended for a general audience, has a 13+ App Store age rating and is outside the Kids Category. That rating does not determine the legal age for valid privacy consent in every country. We do not intentionally ask children to provide personal data through support. If you believe a child has provided data, contact support@playjdapps.com so we can assess the situation and take appropriate action.

11. Changes and contact

We update this policy when our practices change. The revision date identifies the latest text; any later change to Analytics collection or advertising practices will require corresponding information and consent where required. Questions and privacy requests: support@playjdapps.com.
